Started the day with Emily, our family friend on a sunrise walk. It was much needed and provided time for Emily and i to chat - nice reflection period reminiscing about my childhood with Owen and Ian, her sons, while we were growing up in Taiwan. Honestly the countryside around Coventry reminds me of Iowa.
Today’s themes: trains and anxiousness. Went into London today on a last-minute notice to do an apartment viewing and took several tubes and trains for the first time. The house was not ideal at all, but i learned a lot about the renting process in London. I felt a lot less anxious with more knowledge under my belt, but i still won’t rest until i find a residence. Ended the day in London on a high note sitting in front of a cafe sipping on an espresso and reading. Also, came home to hot pot with the gang.
