Took a more concerted effort to make today more of a self-care day. Especially on such a nice, beautiful day; i am fully embracing it before it gets shitty for London winter.
Went to Dharma to do light editing and enjoy a nice pour-over (Sundays i treat myself to a pour-over). Talked to Dawid and Matteusz, both baristas, a little bit and got to know the people in the shop more. Dawid insisted i come back after Tuesday when they’ve received their new beans.
Goddamn i love anything Al fresco. It’s the feeling of the sun shining and radiating on your skin and feeling the warmth of everything, the sounds of people chatting and laughing, the smell of fresh food (I’m missing taste because i wasn’t eating anything).
Also, i never fully watched football in America, but since I’ve come to the UK I’ve been watching it every Sunday. I think I’m reaching for American culture wherever i can.
