First, settling into a new country is uber chaotic - as we can see here I'm simultaneously putting in a new SIM card and booking my train ticket to London to catch up with a friend i met in Paris, Caleb.
Had a big first for me Instagram video calling with a potential flatmate to try to see if we would be compatible. I can definitely see us living with each other both being creatives and he gave me a winddown on what areas to live in in London.
Also, I’ve learned how tough it is to get by without personal transportation (walked 40 min to get into Coventry city centre). Really gives perspective on what it’s like for people without a vehicle to get to their jobs and how hard that is.
