Had coronation chicken sandwich (unfortunately phone didn't even eat so i have no picture :/) in a tiny tearoom in the countryside and learned it’s extremely anglicized Indian food (chicken, mayo, sultans, curry powder) similar to how Chinese food is extremely Americanized in the US
But that’s the beauty of food tho. Ppl from another country make do with the ingredients and food they have at their disposal when they immigrate to another country to make cuisine that reminds them of home and create a whole different cuisine based off of it
Hiking thought: i really am experiencing the Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. First week i was here i was stressed about my living situation and now that that’s been fulfilled I’m looking at how i should spend my birthday socially. It might be the first time I’m spending it alone because my flatmates won’t be here and, with the exception of Caleb, i don't know anyone else in London. It’ll just be different without my parents or people I've known for a long time around.
